I find a private by the same name, STINNETT, WILEY Private—in Power's 14th Arkansas Infantry, Enlisted at Yellville, Arkansas, July 11, 1861; transferred to 2nd Arkansas Mounted Rifles, October 27, 1861. STOKES, H M (Henry M. Stokes) Private— www.couchgenweb.com/civilwar/14powers_coc.html

I wonder if this is the same individual.

Some of the volunteer companies that were orgionally organized in the militia either completely disbanded, changed their name, or elected new officers prior to entering Confederate service, so it is sometimes inpossible to track what happend to them.
