Note for Dr. Bill Shea

Bill:

I read the copy of your talk to the Pine Bluff group. It was interesting and enlightening, made more so because the conditions on the home front and the way the people coped with those conditions has always been of great interest to me. As a youngster, back in the thirties, I spent many summer afternoon sitting in porch swing listening to my grandfather tell stories of the war and the reconstruction era. A family fight is always the meanest, and the meanest war we've fought was the one we fought within our American family.

The article also mentioned your new book. Can you tell me how I can obtain a copy. I live in Ozark and I no longer travel far, so it would need to be by mail or the internet.

Please keep talking and publishing. We need your knowledge.
