I was involved when all of that is floating around about the Price's Raid that was being
discussed a few years ago.
I also received a copy of what there was is the way I remember it. I believe that the Butler
Center also received a copy of such.
Perhaps there is something to fill in and add information to what you are seeking at the
Butler Center. Check with Brian Roberson if it will help you.
Lt. Frederick Price, brother to my ancestor, Fielding Price, was riding with General Price
at the time. When they returned in late November of 1864, they came through White County,
stopping at Fielding Price's asking for help. Fielding tried to help and was headed that way when
picked up/ captured in eastern Arkansas, taken to the Yankee Prison and died there of smallpox
on Feb. 1, 1865.
