There is a thread about Daniel's Texas Battery (Lamar Artillery), which had quite a few Arkansans attached (mostly taken from the 26th Arkansas Regiment), but it remained a predominantly Texas organization.

I'll put together a summary of the Arkansas companies in the 40th Tennessee and post it as soon as I can. It's a pretty interesting story.
