My mother and father were both born in Fulton County, Arkansas. I have a bunch of relatives who fought in the Civil War.

My father's uncles (Azariah McKenzie and the other McKenzies) and my mother's uncles (Lt. William C. Pulley and Sgt. D.F. Pulley) are listed in Company G of the 8th Arkansas. The service records say that Company G came from Company I of Burbridge's Missouri Cavalry.
