Re: J.D. Walker
Thanks for such a rapid response. The reason this came up is, on the Ar. hist archives (June 30 1861) there is a muster roll for Bells' Company and there is a J.D. Walker listed on line #57. I know that the name Walker is very common, but for two men from north Ar. to both use J.D. is really unusual.
James David (J.D.) Walker was my GGGrandfathers 2nd cousin. My GGGrandfather was David Walker the Pres. of the secession convention.
