I will keep me eyes out, but so far I have not seen a name for this company. My impression has always been that the 2nd and 3rd Arkansas were raised with new companies that had not been previously been organized in the militia. This does not mean that their members hadn't severed in the militia at some point. Since Hindman received permission from the Confederate Government to raise this unit, he did it largely separate from the State Military Board, which was organizing the existing voluteer companies into new volunteer or State Troop Regiments. Hindman had trouble arming his unit because he was functioning separate from the State Military Board.
