Someone, I think Doyle, mentioned that the Military Board established 10 recruting centers for it's first call for 10,000 troops. My impression is that one of these centers was Pine Bluff, which produced the 9th Arkansas, One was Jackson port, which produced the 8th Arkansas, One may have been Little Rock, which produced the 6th Arkansas. Does anyone have a complete list of the recruiting centers for this initial call for troops and the regiments produced at each one?
