He was in Company E, 10th Arkansas Infantry and was paroled at Port Hudson. He was captured in Conway County on 16 Feb 1865,confined at Little Rock on 5 March 1865 and released 7 May 1865 on oath. That's from his CSR. The book Rebel's Hell says he was in Comapny C of Witt's Cavalry, gives the capture date as Feb 15 and his confinement date as March 8.
