Several new Missouri and Arkansas regiments and battalions were organized, and or reorganized, just prior, during and just after, Price's Raid into and through Missouri. My question is thus: did any of these new Arkansas commands not follow Price through Missouri? Clardy's Battalion in SE Missouri was organized by men under Shelby's command but not for the purpose of following him and Price through Missouri. I am curious if any of the Arkansas units might have had a similar experience. cbjames49@hotmail.com
