I would like to express my gratitued to the men and women that participated in the Prairie Grove reenactment over the past weekend. I've studied the Civil War for many years but never attended an reenactment. I drove 3 hours after working a mid night shift and wondered on the way if it was worth it. Within the first 30 minutes of being there (before the "battle") I realized that I had made a great choice. It was a wonderful day even if I had to drive home and work that Sunday night. I got plenty of good photos and intend to attend again in two years. Thanks again to everyone including the administrators of the park.
