"Quantrill Special Collections Research" in Gentry

My name is Richard Stewart and I am an independent historian in Independence, Missouri. Myself, in partnership with the Gentry Public Library in Gentry, Benton County, Arkansas will be opening up a brand new section to the library's inventory on May 19, 2012 with a follow up presentation on May 21, 2012! This new section is the "Quantrill Special Collections Research!" It is a new reference collection aimed at students, teachers, genealogists, historians and the general public in efforts to educate everyone about the Kansas-Missouri border wars! This is an exciting new endeavour that promises to reveal new history for Benton, Carroll, Washington and Madison counties!
So far, we are off and running with donations of books, papers, lists, stories, speeches, and other materials to build this into a formidable ally of border war / guerrila education for future students and generations to come. If you have any interest in this project and would like to donate any, all and everything you can to do with Quantrill and the border wars, please contact me at soapboxstand@hotmail.com

We need books, military lists, reports, stories, pictures, articles, eyewitness accounts, pensions, and anything else you think we would be interested in. We are aiming to make this the Quantrill Headquarters of NW Arkansas!

Thanks!
