Civil War scrip note

Well, let's try another one. The main problem with these civil war merchant scrip notes is they most often did not print their full name on the notes and usually signed with initials. If you can ever figure out the names, researching the individual is usually not that difficult. Another thing I am surpised at is just how much information will be available on one person and then nothing on the next. Here is one that I've found nothing on.

The signature appears to be H.L. Wilson. Rothert's book list it as H.L. Wilson. It was issued in Yellville, Arkansas October 1, 1862. I can't find anything on H.L. Wilson in Marion county. I found an H.L. Wilson in Pea Ridge who found at the battle of Pea Ridge. The signature on his Confederate pension in 1915 is not the same signature as on this 1862 note. It appears this is not the same person.

I found an H.L. Wilson in Dardenelle but now can't find where it was I located that information. Also, someone on this Board said an H.L. Wilson operated a store in Dardenelle in 1862. I would assume these are not the same person.

Any help is appreciated
