Hi Mark, I have your book, "Civil War Arkansas 1863" . I really liked the cover...am finding new info. and an interesting lead on Elkins Ferry and dates April 3/4th 1864. My father Arthur Jordan Sykes being from Prescott, Arkansas, I am doing my geography in Arkansas too. I have been away from Missouri for so long, (going East with my husband's family) I almost forgot what it looked like. My father's cousin, Frances Elizabeth Jordan Gates was from Prescott too (b. 1902) and was married there to Edward Crossett Gates and I didn't know that was Timberlands. She was also a Phi Beta Kappa at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville. I have been looking for the Ferguson book also. Betty Gates their daughter went to Stevens College in Missouri the same time I did.. Thanks. Kay
