Mark Christ has a new book called "Civil War Arkansas, 1863: The Battle for a State". It deals with campaigns for Arkansas Post, Helena, Little Rock, as well as the battle at Pine Bluff & fighting around Ft. Smith. I'm halfway through it & its very good. William Shea has a new one on Prairie Grove that I havent read yet, I cant recollect the title. I'm sure someone else will post it. Hope this helps.
