The Thomas H. McCray of the 31st was the same officer who led a brigade during Price's 1864 Missouri Raid. I hav eno evidence that he was the "McRay" involved in the Pulaski Lancers. McCray was lviing in Wittsburg, AR, not in Pulaski County, in 1861.
