The newly formed Grand Prairie Civil War Roundtable will meet Tuesday night, May 11th at the Lonoke County Museum. This will be a planning meeting. We hope to make a decision on where to place a Sesquicentennial Marker in the county and how to pay for the sign. At our last meeting, it was suggested that we consider "Hicks Station" near the ball fields on Hwy 70, just east of downtown Lonoke. Please plan on arriving by 7:00. Since there will be daylight, we will probably drive out to view the site.
