I, too, was fascinated by the hard marching both armies engaged in during the campaign. Before Bill put it all together, the marches, counter-marches, false starts, etc., were to me a confusing, aimless exercise. In reading the ORs, I couldn't figure out what the logic was in all that choreography; but Bill sorted it all out and made sense of it all.
