Thanks for the info but my Joseph was married to Winifred (Winnie) Hurst; children were Cleveland and Lucinda. I can't find Joseph or Cleveland! Winnie married again and I have Lucinda's info but the men of this family are no where to be found. Family lore has it that Winnie thought Joseph died in the Civil War and remarried. Joseph returned after being gone for 7 years--he rode away when he heard that Winnie was married to someone else, never to be heard from again. I was hoping to find his war records to see if I could figure out where he was those 7 years!
