Hello. I was visiting with a man this afternoon at the Lonoke County Museum meeting.
He is very interested in "where was Ashley Station?"
It would have been between what is now DeVall's Bluff and Lonoke.
I say it was a Union watering station probably somewhere between what is now Hazen
and Carlisle.
Does anyone have a fixed point and a reason for saying that one spot.
