Fayetteville, AK CSA vet???

We, Civil War researchers at Santa Rosa Rural Cemetery, CA, on behalf of the SUV/SCV/UDC keep records on all CW vets and make sure they have their grave markers marked with their war service. We have a man who claimed here after the war to have been a CSA vet in an old census.

Ferdinand Frederick Zellner, grave stone says 1831-1919. He was Prof of Music/violin before the war and later here Known in Fayetteville for writing the Fayetteville Polka in 1856 and believed to be first Arkansasian to publish a piece of music.

No NARA record.

Any help appreciated,

Charles Christian.
