Thanks for the Glasscock marriage info but I have copies of both those marriages. It is who Rosannah had her oldest daughter by I am trying to find because we don't know Rosannahs maiden name. On that first marriage record to Robert L Glasscock it says her name is Rosannah Mays and on the 1880 census it shows her widowed living with her oldest daughter Anna (Annie G) Mayo (that is a typo). I have Anna's marriage document to Fred Blinn in 1880 taken place shortly after the census. Annie and Fred moved to Texas for a while then on to San Francisco area. I found her death record in California and mailed for it. It says her mothers maiden name is Rosannah Glasscock and her father is blank otherwise he is unknown. I can't find a death certificate for her youngest daughter who married the Riggs, she died before Arkansas started keeping death records. But I have searched for May, Mays and Mayo and various other spellings of Mays. I think Annie G (Gardner) death record was my last hope. Unless I can find an obituary but if her son who gave the information for the deaht certificate didn't know her mother's maiden name I doubt an obituary would show it. Also that middle name Gardner I have searched by that for Rosannah. Another thing the actual death certificate says that Annies mother name is Ellen I have searched on that also. I have been looking at the civil war website a little at a time but still haven't found a likely candidate. I looked at the Missouri regiments and census also because Rosannah's younger daughter went to Dunklin Co Mo and married the Riggs. The Robert Glasscock's father Charnel moved the family to Missouri, they lived in like four different counties. Then Robert moved on to Randolph Co AR. He was a widower when he married Rosannah.
