Right, the 30th. was organized in the Spring of 1862 and then moved east of the Mississippi to Corinth (having missed the battle of Shiloh), then fought and marched around Miss. until the move to Kentucky, fighting at Richmond, missing Perryville. Then they moved back into Tennessee and fought at Murphreesboro at the beginning of '63 (where they lost there McCown style flag). After this battle there was a reorganization and the 30th became the 25th Ark. Infantry.

The following is surmise and conjecture!

When they became the 25th, they most likely were assigned an Army of Tennessee battle flag, but there is no record of this and no official declaration or mention yet found. I will send you some pictures that I have accumulated over a couple of years.
