The top right photo,full length standing in the gray uniform was right at the end of the war according to the great grandaughter of COl William Crawford. She has an original and as the story goes, told his daughter Laura(her grandmother) at the end of the war (don't know if it was right before the surrender or after) that he would have her a photo made. It is hand inscribed by him to her though as I have seen it and made a copy for myself.

I also have a copy of a letter during the Brooks/Baxter war where Col Crawford and 3 other former CS officers under Fagan, berated him pretty heavily in the Little Rock newspapers. He and Crawford were quite close pre war and during, but when Fagan agreed to side with Brooks, they all broke with him and put their displeasure in public view.
