Lewis Wellington Munroe was enrolled as a member of the Prairie County Home Guard on July 16, 1861. The only information on this unit comes from a Prairie County court record. He was also a member of the Prairie County militia -- Co. G, 50th Regiment Arkansas Militia. He appears on a report of the militia's annual three-day muster for inspection and drill, as being present March 7-9, 1862. This is the only record of this outfit.
