James M. Robertson

I have a copy of a letter written by J. W. Robertson, writin to his mother, Susanah Robertson, to let her know that his brother, James M. Robertson was killed in the Battle of Decatur, AL., which lasted 3 days. I think by checking census records, he may have been from Arkansas. We have 56 unknown soldiers buried in our City Cemetery. I belong to Joe Wheeler UDC and we have identified 5 of our unknown. This letter I found in the Huntsville, Al Archives, but it does say he died in Decatur. I found a John Weldon and a James M. Robertson in the Maumelle, Pulaski Co. AR census records. Please if anyone reads this pass it on or has any information. I see a James M. Robertson that is in the 3rd Regt. Ark, Inf.
Any help would be so appreciated.
