I do not believe this is the one that I am looking for because the one I'm looking for was born in 1841 thus making him much younger, only 20 years old at the out break of war, and their was never any mention in family history of him being any kind of doctor, and he lived to be 76 years old.He was born in Savannah, Georgia.But he did live in Ark. there is supposed to be a place called Cardens Bend, Ark. named after this family.
