John H Pruitt died in Little Rock during Civil War

Looking for grave of Confederate soldier John H. Pruit or Pruitt who on April 27, 1862 enlists with Capt. Kennedy Company D 10th Nelson's Regiment Texas Infantry in Fairfield, Freestone Co., Tx. with the Confederate States and died in Little Rock, Ark. hospital on August 15, 1862 of Typhoid Fever.

I do not believe that he came back to Texas to be buried but buried there around or in Little Rock, Ark.

Can anyone advise where he might be buried or where they buried confederate soldiers during the Civil War in Little Rock, Ark.

His brother, Francis Marion Pruitt, was also in Company D 10th Nelson's Regiment Texas Infantry in Civil War. He enlisted at Ft. Herbert, Tx on Jan 10 1862. Was in C.S.A. General Hospital Shreveport, Louisiana from April 16, 1864 to May 3rd, 1864 for Vulnuo Scolpitiema? F.M. Pruitt came back to Limestone Co., Tx after the war and is buried in Lindley cemetery in Limestone Co., Tx.

Thanks in advance for any help,

Mike Pruitt
