Re: Location of 11th and 17th in August, 1863

The parole lists for Port Hudson are in the National Archives. Those men paroled at Port Hudson were not a part of the mounted force under Logan operating around Clinton and Jackson; they had been left behind in the garrison when Banks's army encircled the defenses.
