1. Capt Veal cdg post at Brownsville will send to these respective regiments & comps all men in Brownsville or vicinity who are fit for duty......
2. All the sick who can be moved to DesArc will at once be transported to the hospital at this place--all unable to be moved to this point will be sent per railroad to Little Rock & placed in the hospital.
3....
4. The hospital & post at Brownsville are hereby discontinued.......

Obviously, this particular hospital was near the railroad that passed thru Brownsville to Little Rock.
