Very interesting, Skip. Daniel's Texas Battery was assigned to Maj. Gen. Henry McCulloch's command (which later became Walker's Division) in October 1862 at Camp Hope/Nelson, and marched with the division to Camp Bayou Metoe in November.

The muster roll entries from this period refer to soldiers being left sick at the Railroad Hospital (no town mentioned), while earlier and later rolls mention soldiers being sent to hospitals in specific towns -- Little Rock, Pine Bluff, etc. That's one reason why I think the hospital was a temporary affair situated within a reasonable distance from Camp Bayou Metoe.

This is the only example of a so-called Railroad Hospital in Arkansas that I've been able to find. There were several in Mississippi that accomodated Arkansas troops. Some were located in the vicinity of camps at quite a distance from the nearest town.
