Dear Mr. Howerton,
Thank you for your response. I have found war records that mention skirmishs at Roseville in April of 1864. The information I have says Stanley Rodgers died in one of these. Other than the scanty notices of skirmish on line, do you know of any resource that might give more details of these April '64 events? Stanley Rodgers was killed within a couple of months after he signed the Loyalty Oath. He lived near Caulksville and left 3-4 children, one of whom was my greatgrandfather. He married Mary Cordelia Depriest. Some of her family are on the Dawes Roles of Creek Indians. Thanks again. Joe
