Shellie, thank you for your valuable advice on how to find where soldiers might have served. It seems so simple now that you point everything out. And I would never have dreamed my Johnson ancestor served the Union side. Just because he lived in AR, I thought he would have been a Confederate. My ignorance is showing again, huh?
