Doyle, while I haven't yet found the smoking gun to prove it beyond a doubt, circumstantial evidence supports your assessment that the Pine Bluff Cavalry of the 2nd Battalion Arkansas Cavalry was basically the old mounted miltia company reorganized for Confederate service.
