If you found the grave sites that's more than I have found. The people in this area are either tight lipped or just don't that much about it. I love historical sites and Arkansas has alot of them it's just a matter of finding them. Get that book and see if there's anything in there that can help you.
If you don't mind me asking where did you find the grave sites at?I would love to see them.I do metal detecting and I don't wish to keep anything. I render my findings to the landowners, I just like the hunt.
I've known some of the elderly people in this area and I don't get much info. I'm currently trying to get to a site on the south of mtn view where a small skirmish at St.James took place.
