My great grand father, G. L. Cormack was in Co. K of the 11th. & 17th. mounted inft. He inlisted at the start of the war and was at the final surrender at Citronelle, Ala. He seems to have come through all of the battles without gettng wounded or hurt. I would like to find more info. of his unit.
