Thanks Bill, that was thoughtful of you. I have gone over the cemetery list with the officials. My ancestor is one of the "more than 20 unknowns" (actually 12 I believe) who have non descript markers. Originally, they had cedar trees planted at the graves, which was common in the mid 19th century. Most, and perhaps all, were Confederate soldiers.
