Bruce, Thank You for the response. I did a "Google" search on Col. McCray and one of the links that came up, was a family lineage on him. At the end was this note: "General Thomas McCray, CSA, General Hardy's Division". It also said that he died October 19, 1891; Cook Co., Chicago, IL. Is General McCray buried in one of the many mysterious cemeteries in the Chicago area? I do know that in the early 1900's, Chicago moved many cemeteries. Also, is that note above General McCray's inscription on his tomb stone?
