My ggf with the 62nd Alabama was at Spanish Fort and was replaced by Holtzclaws brigade right before the siege and then they moved to Fort Blakeley and fought in redoubts 5-9 vicinity. They also were at Fort Gaines and captured there so he made two trips to Ship Island prison.I was searching for ant details on the battles with the 62nd and any history on their exact locations and how they got from Spanish Fort to Blakeley during a siege as well as what type of responsibility they had at Fort Gaines.
