I have a Muster Roll card for my 2nd great-grandfather, Thomas Jefferson Garrett.

According to the card, he enlisted on 30 Sep 1861 at Camp Davis, Ala. by a Major Murphy.

He used T. J. Garrett, as well as Thomas J. Garrett on records.

I am hoping to find info on Camp Davis. I didn't have any luck on Google.

I would also welcome any and all help of any kind about his military service. FYI....I have found the Pension Application filed by his wife Mary Garrett.
