Ferguson for one year, wounded and captured at Winchester September 19, 1864, admitted USA Depot Field Hospital with gunshot wound right thigh, flesh wound,, transferred to General Hospital October 25, paroled at Point Lookout, Md., exchanged October 30, received at Venus Point, Savannah River November 15th, 1964, exchanged prisoner, surrendered with the ANV at Appomattox April 9, 1865
