Hello....I haven't been here in awhile and site may have changed. Didn't there used to be a List of all Alabama Regiments and there history/ with references? For instance, the 12th ala Cav. had 3 anecdotes, one from Oliver Perry, "Cherished Letters" from T.W. Hendricks and a Story about a Soldier named T. Ford, who told the Story about after the POW exchange was over, they were ordered to not take prisoners....anyway they captured some Yankee's one of them was a Trooper named Ford from illinois, Well Ford from the 12th believes that this man is his Cousin, and he works out away for him to escape, cause he didn't want to kill him, and shoot's him in the arm....supposedly man became One-Armed Charlie Ford who became a notorious Outlaw. Does anyone know where I can find this Story...I would like to share it with one of Fords Ancestors. I know that I saved it, but believe it was on my old puter, cause now can't find it.....Thanks
