Here's a start:
I found this reference noting where Ferrarro’s division of black soldiers was badly mauled at the crater.
BGen. Edward Ferrero’s, 4th Division contained these colored troops:
1st Brigade
Ltc Joshua K. Sigfried
27th U.S. Colored Troops: Ltc Charles J. Wright
30th U.S. Colored Troops: Col Delevan Bates
39th U.S. Colored Troops: Col Ozora P. Stearns
43rd U.S. Colored Troops (7 companies): Cpt Jesse Wilkinson
2nd Brigade
Col Henry Goddard Thomas
19th U.S. Colored Troops (28th U.S. Colored Troops attached): Ltc Joseph G. Perkins
23rd U.S. Colored Troops: Col Cleaveland J. Campbell (w)
29th U.S. Colored Troops: Maj T. Jefferson Brown
31st U.S. Colored Troops: Cpt Thomas Wright
I checked the rosters of these regiments in the Civil War Research Date Base casualty list and find only these officers listed as having been killed at the Crater. Cannot be sure this source is fully accurate.
