Hi Rhonda, Using google as a search engine enter Medical and Surgical History of the War of the Rebellion. I believe I saw it on Wikipedia, if you scroll down you will see the volumes you can click on and I count six.

There might be a alphabetical listing or index but I rather doubt it when it come down the separate soldiers cases. I saw these volumes in hard back about 30 years ago I just checked to see if they were online and they were.

Folks like Rick Bryant and so many others are excellent researchers and they will probably agree at times research can be a tedious chore. It will take you some time to go through the records but if you have the same passion as some others the rewards will be worthwhile. Wishing you future success.
