Can someone tell me the position Captain George Clark, 11th Alabama, in Perrin's Brigade was serving on May 12, 1864 at Spotsylvania Courthouse? Was Captain Clark the Adjutant for the 11th Alabama during the battle on May 12th? I do not find it specifically mentioned in "A Glance Backward", and he states he was with sharpshooters and skirmishers during some of the fighting in the Wilderness.
