On the Alabama, Deaths and Burials Index, 1881-1974, found on Ancestry.com, his death is shown as Oct. 10, 1927, in Lannett, (although ancestry read his last name as Meadois, his wife's last name as Meadors, and the town as Larrett). No place of burial is shown. His wife, Amanda shows up on the 1930 census still living in Chambers County at age 79, widow. I did not find a record of her death, and could not find burial information on either of them, but would have to assume that it took place in Chambers County. It appears that she drew a widow's pension at least until 1931.
