From the Moulton Advertiser (Lawrence County, AL) 01 May 1902:

"We return thanks to Ed Sandlin of Ardmore for a copy of the Dallas Daily News containing a full account of the Reunion and illustrated with photographs of many ex-Confederates. It covered 72 large pages, and is a wonderful feat of journalistic enterprise. We expect soon to decorate the interior of our office with these splendid pictures."

Ed Sandlin was a local Lawrence County boy who moved to Ardmore, OK and sent the paper in question back to Jourd White, editor of the Advertiser. By him sending it to AL, one could speculate that it contained at least some pictures of AL vets. Does anyone have access to this paper around this time?
