I was wondering if anyone out there has any detailed information on the the 14th Alabama from the beginning of the war through Gettysburg that they would be willing to share. My GGG-grandfather John C. Davidson and GGG-uncle Thomas Davidson were in Co. I of the 14th and both were captured at Gettysburg. I have some of their service records, and even though it's probably impossible I'd love to learn more about where they were captured on the second day of the battle, as well as any researched information anyone may on the 14th.
