Ladies & Gentlemen;
I need help.
And yes I know I am porably wasting all our time,
Among other things, the records and dates are all messed up.
The Story;
Dolby Price (Dolbey spelled several ways.) was born in Bibb County,Alabama
about 1845.
He enlisted in the 29th Alabama Regiment October 04th, 1862.
He was 17 years of age,
He died of Fever in Camp Lee at Pollard, Alabama September 05th, 1862
(Yes - Dates messed up.)
He was paid some time after he died,
It just glares that he is buried somewhere near Camp Lee in Alabama
However, handed down family history says that he is buried in vicksburg.
(And ihave discovered that Handed down Family History may not be
exactly correct, but there is usually some truth somewhere in it.)
I have searched as far as I know how,
Can any find any record of Dolby in Mississipppi or hereabouts.
