Montgomery Daily Mail, April 11, 1865. All Safe. Considerable anxiety has been felt since the recent affair at Pollard, to learn the fate of the 3d battalion Alabama Reserves, and of Capt. Starke's company of State militia, which was attached to the battalion. We are happy to be able to state upon the authority of Major S.T. Strickland, commanding the battalion, that the command is all safe. Major S. makes this announcement by telegraph from Painville, March 27th.
